Under Child Protection legislation we are required to record the use of all photographic and video equipment at competitions.
Anyone attending a CWDC competition is required to record their details on our register. This must include a photograph, and you will need to bring 1 other form of ID with you.
Our registration runs currently from Brean Sands European Competition 2009 through to Brean Sands European competition 2010. Those of you attending the Brean Sands European event in 2010 will be asked to re-register your equipment at that competition for the 2010 - 2011 competition year.
If however you did not attend that event and would like to register your equipment in the meantime, then here's what you do:

We undertake to ensure that your personal information is held securely, and is not shared with any third party. By Joining the CWDC Online Members Area you will receive periodic updates and email alerts from the CWDC regarding CWDC Events and competitions.
Should you wish to no longer receive these messages then you will need to cancel your membership. This can be done by sending an email from the registered email address to "Website@cwdc.co.uk", requests will be actioned within 5 working days.

Question - Both my self and my partner will be using our camera, who should register?
Answer - Both of you. Any one using photographic equipment must be registered.
Question - Can I take video as well as still photos?
Answer - Currently this is allowed, should legislative changes be made then we will update our policy accordingly.
Question - I have two cameras, one a video camera, the other a stills camera do I need to register twice?
Answer - Each piece of photographic equipment must carry a tag, if you wish to use both pieces of equipment at the same time then you will need 2 tags.
Question - Why does this cost £3.00?
Answer - We charge £3.00 to cover the costs of producing, printing and laminating the tag along with postage and packaging.
